Responsibilities include providing documentation and floor support associated with safety, manufacturing, and quality methods, tooling, and equipment. Aggressively initiate new processes and methods that will improve safety, improve product quality, and reduce product cost.
Essential Responsibilities
• Develop manufacturing processes with focus on electronics and information technology generating process efficiency gains while error proofing the system.
• Implement functional test equipment, hardware, software and procedures for testing of manufactured products
• Ensure regulatory compliance through generation of Equipment Qualification and Process Validation reports
• Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production
• Work with Production Associates to resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design
• Clear and concise documentation of procedures and manufacturing processes
• Represent manufacturing within cross-functional new product introduction team in process development and layout, tool and component development, new equipment, training and manufacturing releases
• Drive Lean manufacturing implementation
• Support manufacturing and manufacturing engineering CAPA (corrective and preventative action) closure activities
• Support management of tool and equipment calibration
• Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
• Knowledge and understanding of document control, design transfer, verification, validation, acceptance activity, DMR, DHR and electronic signature requirements to ensure that product, equipment, tools, processes, software, training and documentation meet requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
• A.A.S. Degree in Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Computer Science, or related technical degree
• Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Good team worker in international teams
• Good analytical and planning skills
