Description
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Senior Vice President, HR Business Partner, Global Corporate Services Executive Office. The Manager will be responsible for coordination, execution, tracking and measurement of key talent management initiatives across the Global Corporate Services (GCS) business units.
Primary responsibilities include:
* Managing the overall infrastructure for the Global Corporate Services talent assessment process including robust tracking and reporting, annual timeline management, and consultation to relationship leaders on line of business talent assessment sessions. Furthermore, the manager will be responsible for providing commentary and analysis for use in talent review meeting presentations.
* Tracking and reporting of executive talent planning for GCS, including full ownership of the bi-monthly “Talent Planning Update” process and deliverables.
* Overseeing the employee component of the annual goal/performance measurement for the GCS business units (aka the employee “G-Score”)
* Project management and analytical support for other GCS Talent and Development programs and initiatives.
* Decision support and project assistance on other key talent initiatives on the GCS talent development agenda.
* The position will work closely with multiple HR groups including executive talent, diversity, and recruitment and other business and HR colleagues to deliver excellent analytics and process execution in support of the overall GCS Human Resources priorities.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical skills; ability to accurately organize and track complex quantitative data to uncover trends and develop qualitative recommendations.
* Skilled in analyzing and synthesizing data and presenting data in a simple, business-focused presentation format.
* Able to influence and shape diverse viewpoints and create a compelling storyline based on facts.
* Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, creativity welcome.
* Competent and advanced PC skills, with specific abilities in Excel and Powerpoint.
* Demonstrated ability to deal with confidential information.
* Strong attention to detail, and the desire to deliver premium quality work product.
* Motivated self starter who is able to drive results and get things done in a self-directed manner.
* Proven ability to build relationships, influence decisions and driving results through internal partnerships to effectively drive processes.
* Strong positive attitude and interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization.
* Excellent time management skills required including ability to prioritize and multi-task and handle time-sensitive deadlines in a complex, fast-paced environment.
* Expert project management skills; ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
Educational requirement:
* Minimum of 3-5 years work experience.
* Experience with HR processes and disciplines and familiarity with American Express business preferred.
