The
Restaurant Solutions Group (RSG) develops strategies and initiatives
that provide growth solutions for McDonald’s restaurants. RSG
collaborates with other corporate groups and Area of the World (AOW)
partners to create solutions and maintain the standards that are
required for brand McDonald's.
Operations
Research (OR) is part of the Restaurant Innovation Department, based at
the company’s Innovation Center in Romeoville, IL. OR performs
analyses, conducts research and develops tools to fuel the global
innovation process. OR also provides decision support services to help
RSG and AOW partners enable better and faster decisions at the
restaurant, market and enterprise level.
OR Directors are key thought partners for Restaurant Innovation, RSG and AOWs. They
lead projects and cross functional teams, provide decision-support on a
broad range of operational issues, and serve as subject matter experts
for their respective disciplines. Although an OR Director may be aligned
with one of the specific OR Practice Areas (Analysis, Research and
Tools), they are typically engaged in all OR areas to some degree.
