The Specialized Corporate Travel Counselor is responsible for servicing American Express Business Travel customers, duties will include making and maintaining reservations including, but not limited to, Air, Cars, and Hotels for domestic and International Travel in a call center environment. Duties include: Providing consultative advice on efficient routings, lowest fares, and travel services. Ensure optimum customer service through effective use of computer systems, telephone service techniques, act on special customer requests and develop and maintain excellent client relationships.
Qualifications
The Ideal Candidate will possess the following:
* 3 years minimum travel counselor experience.
* GDS experience is required, current Sabre experience preferred.
* Extensive International faring, construction of complex itineraries and destination knowledge.
* Written and oral communication skills are critical to this position as you will provide coaching and consulting by phone and via e-mail.
* You must have excellent relationship skills, be accurate, have strong time management skills and be a team player.
Due to the business needs, this person will need to be flexible in shift and be willing to accept change on a daily basis. The hours of operations will typically be M-F 6:30 AM-3 PM Phoenix Time.
