We’re currently seeking qualified candidates to join our team in the position of:

Accounting Associate I

Position Summary:
Responsibility for fixed assets and other activities including supporting the accounts payable process from invoice entry to payment processing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain, reconcile, and manage fixed asset records and related processes.

Process wire payments and bank transfers as needed.

Perform administrative (user setup, etc.), reporting, and audit functions for Concur.

Perform administrative functions for company credit cards (maintain GL account mapping, etc.).

Back up accounts payable processes as necessary, including vouchering invoices, processing weekly check runs and wire payments, and assisting with vendor maintenance.

Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts - including prepaid expenses, deposits, and other asset accounts.

Month end close tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Maintain process documentation for tasks and update as necessary.

Understand and follow department policies and procedures.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

1-2 years general accounting experience.

Accounts payable experience preferred.

Qualifications:
Must be detail-oriented and a fast learner.

Possess excellent organization and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Experience with Great Plains, ReQlogic and Concur or comparable systems, preferred.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
