compensation. This position is responsible for providing Software process and automation (tools) leadership for Configuration Management (CM) within a dynamic, fast-paced, multi-site environment. In addition, this position is accountable for achieving quality objectives, meeting development (build and release) schedules, and supporting/enhancing team effective execution, as well as communicating program status and escalating issues when appropriate to facilitate transparency. | |
| •Manage
the team’s Configuration Management Process and Tools (i.e., Clearcase)
installations by closely working with Software Engineers, IT and other
Senior Software Configuration Management Engineers locally, and in
remote locations.
•Ensure Clearcase and other Software development tools are operational all the time and help the team with all issues related to them. •Own configuration, build, and release management for the team for all ongoing programs. •Develop and implement a CM environment and usage improvement road map and drive its execution Quality Specific Goals: •Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position •Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines •Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required •Ensure compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Control FDRs and NPI program milestones •Lead continuous improvement activities by driving the implementation of process and product quality improvement initiatives | |
| •5+ years Linux based C/C++ development experience
•Very strong multi-site Configuration and build management experience with 3+ years of Clearcase management. UCM expertise is required. •Strong experience with maintaining Linux based build servers and build systems •Experience with Makefiles and multiple build systems •Experience with Ant, Squish, Boost, etc. •Strong knowledge of Software development Lifecycle processes (Waterfall or Agile) U.S. (Country) Specific Qualifications: •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time •Must be willing to work in our Salt Lake City, UT facility full-time •Must be willing to submit to a drug test, and background check – including verification of previous employment, criminal history and educational background •Must submit application for employment through gecareers.com (or COS if internal) to be considered | |
