    Works within the framework of established operating procedures to drive an enterprise security architecture framework. Will include engagement with stakeholders across the organization on design, development and requirements of applications and projects that support our businesss goals.
  • Protects the Business from and educates staff on areas of non-compliance and security concerns by developing, implementing and maintaining GE information security strategy, policy, standards and guidelines throughout the organization.
  • Focuses on the physical protection of information systems assets, corporate information and intellectual property assets in order to prevent the intentional or inadvertent access, modification, disclosure, or destruction of those assets.
  • Partners with IT/Business Leaders to identify information security risks, classify and prioritize those risks, implement controls to reduce or eliminate risks and ensure adherence to GE Information security policies and standards.
  • Coordinates the development and maintenance of IT disaster recovery plans for critical systems, liaises with crisis management, physical security, disaster recovery and other functions to ensure information security has the appropriate level of visibility to support the business continuity plans.
  • Conducts regular audits and assessments of existing user accounts, access rights, compliant hardware and software patch levels, as well as, suppliers, acquisitions/divestitures, internal businesses, and customers to ensure information policy adherence. Coordinates investigations into potential security breaches; and documents and tests IT systems for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Evaluation and implementation of secure testing tools to improve code quality across the organization
  • Define and assist development teams on design requirements based on policy, standard and best practices.
  • Work with stakeholders to remediate vulnerabilities identified in vulnerability and threat reports.
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent work experience) with 2+ years of experience in IT.
  • Experience working with vendors.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, particularly scope management, risk management and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated success at persuading stakeholders to achieve program goals in a matrixed environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Green Belt or Black Belt certified.
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure (Client server, Network and Operating systems).

  • Experience in HTML5, JavaScript, Jquery, Java, .net and/ or AJAX
