This role will set the strategic vision for Financial Systems applications for the Retail Finance business with a primary focus on managing and maintaining the business’s general ledger process enhancements. The candidate will be responsible for leading multiple business projects within the general ledger environment. The candidate will provide end user support for the software tools used to query transactional and balance general ledger data and upload journal entries into the general ledger.
  • Lead general ledger project plan and testing effort for software upgrade
  • Implement average daily balance ledger to meet SEC and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Provide multicurrency support and statutory reporting solutions for ledgers and subsystems supporting foreign affiliates.
  • Implement trial balance edit check system to ensure accuracy and alignment of data prior to external submission
  • Ownership of chart of values maintenance and simplification for the business and subsystems.
  • Manage general ledger support for the month end closing and reporting cycles
  • Provide general ledger querying tool end user training and support
  • Provide application desktop integrator (ADI) end user training and support
  • Build and maintain Oracle allocations to automate management, legal entity and tax accounting processes.
  • Some international and domestic travel required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 7 years accounting or finance experience
  • People Management and Project Management experience
  • Minimum 5 years systems administration experience of an Oracle general ledger and Application Desktop Integrator (ADI)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally – up to 10%
