Description

 
 
As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be a member of the Global Reporting and Analysis Team.  You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data for internal as well as external purposes. 
 
Primary responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing and analyzing internal financial statements and reports
  • Assisting with the preparation of periodic  financial forecasts & budgets
  • Performing variance analysis across multiple geographies and business units
  • Identifying financial trends and development
  • Researching questions from internal customers regarding financial data   
  • Assist in the development of Global Financial planning process, preparing planning and forecasting forms in SAS Financial Management software
  • Performing other duties as assigned 
Knowledge:
  • Experience in the areas of Consolidations, Eliminations and Financial Systems. 
  • Uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. 

Qualifications

 
 
Essentials: 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field 
  • 8 years of professional accounting experience, preferably in a large corporate environment
Additional: 
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional team building skills
  • Strong computer skills, especially with SAS Financial Management, Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to understand and interpret financial/performance data.
Preferred:
  • Master's degree
  • CPA certification preferred
