Description

  Overview: This position will serve as the ECM Creative Manager for one or more of the following Marketing programs Sales Growth, BalCon/CLI, Conversions. As such, this position is responsible for the review and execution of marketing creatives and the management of multi-channel creative execution which will require the person to manage business relationships; influence key partners; initiate and implement creative process executional efficiencies and process improvements; oversee policy adherence practices with respect to creative management. The person will be responsible for ensuring our creatives are executed with efficiency, control, and quality and ensuring that the members of the team are managing day to day execution within the team’s capacity. In carrying out these duties, the ECM Creative Manager performs several critical tasks, which include but are not always limited to the following: (1) Partner with Marketing and Creative agencies to understand and execute the creative strategy • Provide an executional voice to the strategy to ensure creatives being developed or modified follow a consistent and repeatable design to promote a rollout opportunity. (2) Manage creative execution process • Partner with our production team and vendors to provide execution setup and specifications. Find the most effective and efficient means to delivering communications to our customers. • Develop partnerships with channel owners to create and align execution efficiencies to ensure control and quality of message across various customer touch-points. (3) Manage capacity campaign to campaign • Ensure team’s support campaign over campaign is managed within capacity and is aligned to business goals and objectives. (4) Lead, drive and participate in Creative Management Infrastructure design • Find opportunities thru technology or process re-designs to create better management of creative support and execution for our business. • Leverage vendor relationships to seek out best practices elsewhere that can be incorporated into our processes.

Qualifications

  Bachelor's Degree and 8-10 years of related experience in the field of creative management, either from the development or execution of creative.  Knowledge of directing creative agencies for creative development work and an understanding of the creative agency process.  Demonstrate understanding of data usage and how data can drive creative execution  Knowledge and experience with working along multiple layers of creative reviews and approvals involved in executing credit card marketing programs.  Demonstrates a thorough understanding of Citi Cards' current capabilities with respect to marketing creative execution.  Excellent project management and organizational skills.  Excellent communication skills, particularly as it pertains to tailoring one's message and style to best reach one's audience --- in both formal and informal settings and regardless of the audience (e.g. technical, creative, legal, internal and external auditors, senior managers and officers)  Strategic, critical, and independent thinker capable of envisioning different ways of doing business  Excellent influencing skills and a proven ability to build consensus across disparate subcultures and teams within an organization  Demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize and drive results with a strong sense of urgency  Demonstrates flexibility in approach to different types of business problems and a willingness to change course when necessary to avoid project setbacks  Outstanding relationship building and relationship management skills  Knowledge of related areas such as pricing, segmentation and targeting, marketing production, telesales, customer service, database marketing and operation desired.  Comfortable with ambiguity; able to create and establish structure and process across cross-functional teams when ambiguous situations and new business needs arise  Works with limited direction on most assignments, receiving instruction from manager on unusually complex or sensitive situations.
