Recovery & Resolution Planning Senior Analyst (Job Number: 1317023)
Description
The Office of Recovery and Resolution Planning (ORRP) serves as the firm's PMO for the development and ongoing maintenance of global and local Recovery and Resolution Plans (RRPs) to meet US and foreign regulatory requirements. The Recovery and Resolution Planning Senior Analyst's primary functions include: preparation and implementation of project plans, conducting meetings with senior management and drafting sections of RRPs. The group reports up through several teams and the RRP Senior Analyst is a member of one of these teams as well as the lead on several work streams around various topics pertaining to plan development. The activities supporting preparation and implementation of project plans include conducting group meetings with representatives of business lines; collecting and evaluating data; designing stress scenarios and determining appropriate stress triggers for recovery actions; drafting RRPs; and project management and oversight.
Qualifications
College is required with 8+ years of financial or consultative services; accounting or financial background; MS Office proficient; project management skills. Graduate degree (MBA) is preferred along with experience interacting with senior managers and government officials; works independently with minimal supervision. High proficiency in written and verbal communications skills is required. Proficiency drafting complex documents is preferred. Comfortable with unstructured, changing environment; strong problem solving ability; knowledge of financial statements and ratios is required. Skill set includes: analysis of corporate financial statements, business process modeling and understanding of a complex financial institution's operational work flows; quick learning capacity; poise under pressure; strong quantitative and qualitative skills; ability to synthesize large amounts of data and deduce conclusions from data gaps; ability to draw persuasive conclusions in PowerPoint presentations to executive management; strong leadership abilities; works effectively in a co-located team environment; interacts comfortably with staff at all levels; displays a willingness to challenge conventional thinking. Candidate is expected to work independently with minimal supervision and to develop into a highly trained professional with a well-balanced understanding of the company's range of activities.
