The Systems Analyst Business Solutions 6 will provide technical guidance for directing & monitoring client operations. Duties include; Isolating and resolving fairly complex problems using appropriate diagnostic tools (involve vendors when appropriate), implementing machine modifications to increase capacity of system, analyze & implement changes or additions to software systems & production procedures research & resolve software systems, production processing, network recovery & user problems.
The Systems Analyst - Business Solutions is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. This role follows an individual work plan, meets day-to-day short-term objectives, and has the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.
In addition, you will:

  • Serve as technical expert on assigned area’s applications, including code, interfaces, and data flows
  • Use appropriate tools to update and change production environment
  • Demonstrate command of multiple programming languages, basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, documentation standards, file design, storage, and interfacing
  • Recognize abnormal processing conditions
  • Have a basic understanding of production environment
  • Understand service level (SLA) agreements and schedules to meet them
  • Maintain peer relationships across IM areas (infrastructure, operations, etc.) to support effective implementations
  • Have effective communication skills Analytical / problem solving Interpersonal skills / team building
  • Make technical decisions by applying fundamental engineering principles and specialized knowledge or skills to assigned tasks
  • Serve as a primary interface with internal and external contributing organization relative to technical requirements, directions and problem resolution
  • Collaborate with management in developing technical directions, setting objectives, and setting realistic and challenging goals
  • Implement work activities to meet these plans, monitor progress, and report status
  • Provide timely leadership and direction to supporting organizations
  • Assist in the modification or establishment of operating practices
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university OR a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum 4 years of experience in the application of Information Systems / IT experience
