The Site Sourcing Leader will own the overall sourcing vision, strategy and deliverables for the Oil & Gas site. Manage complex business issues within the functional area of expertise and contribute to the overall business strategy.
In this role you will integrate and develop sourcing processes that meet business needs at the site as well as across GRC. You will drive standards and routines that meet compliance requirements, financial metrics and internal customer service goals. You will be the key sourcing interface with Legal, EHS, Finance and IT.
As the Site Sourcing Leader you will:
  • Develop & implement the site sourcing strategy including operating processes/metrics and monitor deliverables to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Work with GRC Leaders and GGO personnel in the build out of the Oil & Gas site location.
  • Take a lead role in identifying and developing a competent supply base from both the local and global markets.
  • Collaborate with functional and operational leadership to support the aggressive growth and needs of the site.
  • Participate in the GRC Sourcing Council representing the Oklahoma site
  • Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and reputational requirements
  • Responsible to lead complex contract/terms negotiations with suppliers
  • Support and promote GE high standards in compliance and integrity practices
  • Develop knowledge of corporate tools to create PO’s in the ITO value stream including database management
  • Support and drive simplification strategies
  • Develop strong internal customer relationships
  • Bachelors in Business or Engineering with at least 5 years of experience in Sourcing, Operation, Supply Chain or Finance.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to cope with multiple complex situations daily
  • Negotiation experience
  • Able to balance multiple priorities
  • Strong background in contract negotiations
  • Can influence as well as establish good relationships and drive change across functional & global boundaries
