The Cloud Architect will be working on cloud enabled elastic application container technologies. This role requires significant understanding of virtualization API technologies and IaaS as well as PaaS layers.
Essential Responsibilities	Conduct requirements analysis, design, development and rollout of a highly scalable global application delivery platform Produce architectural designs, infrastructure and interface specifications Technically lead and manage the team in an agile model to achieve the desired goal Communicate and articulate requirements to the engineering teams. Report on the product status to management as well as solution stakeholders Work with product management to technically articulate business requirements into an actionable roadmap Work with senior and junior developers to develop proof of concept implementations Work with engineering to incubate new technologies into products Provide detailed technical specifications to engineering and product management teams
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline Minimum of 10 years of related technology experience Minimum 10 of years of Java development experience with building systems requiring multiple users and roles Minimum of 2 years of experience with Spring framework Minimum of 2 years of development experience with cloud APIs such as EC2 Minimum of 2 years of experience in enterprise and service oriented architectures Minimum of 2 years of applied experience in private cloud API development for Infrastructure-as-a-Service
