Supply Chain/ Operations Supervisor

Upon joining the organization, you will go through a customized 3 month leadership training program in preparation for a Resource position. To assimilate and assure skill transfer you will gain exposure to the key players and functions across the plant, including the Warehouse, Traffic, and Maintenance departments. The training and assimilation for this position involves working across all 3 shifts to learn the foundation of the business and develop an understanding of our manufacturing processes and supply chain. The job is in a physical work environment with varying length work days/schedule. In the CPG industry, weekends and holidays are often our most demanding days. Candidates must be willing and prepared to work weekends and holidays as needed.


Upon completion of the training program, you will share responsibility for all aspects of managing 15-30 hourly associates with varying levels of experience and education. You will be responsible for administrative and technical support, as well as facilitating information. You will organize and facilitate team meetings (pre-shifts, roundtables) to achieve continuous improvement process. You must develop individuals and the team to solve operational issues, motivate the team to achieve performance targets and coach team members to use the process and facilitate problem solving on the floor. A Resource must manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, with a focus of "winning your shift" every day by managing quality performance, cost, service and safety. It is imperative that you have strong leadership and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing work environment.


Key Responsibilities

ØDevelop team to solve day-to-day operational issues & reach performance goals

ØCommunicate cross-functionally to assist team to solve operational issues

ØMotivate team members to achieve plan goals

ØOrganize and facilitate work team meetings (examples: pre-shift, roundtables, etc.)

ØSolve daily operational issues

ØAdminister policies and practices

ØInitiate and implement projects

ØConduct presentations and formal training programs

ØImprove team communication and engagement

ØThink quickly, creatively and challenge team to do the same





Minimum Qualifications

ØBachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering

ØAuthorized to work in United States on a permanent basis

ØMust be 18 years of age or older

ØWillingness to work off shifts, weekends, & holidays

ØMust pass a drug screen and background investigation


Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

ØDegree preferably in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related major

ØDemonstrated leadership ability

ØHighly motivated self starter

ØProject management skills

ØAbility to work in an unstructured environment with ability to make tradeoff decisions quickly

ØAbility to give/receive constructive feedback

ØAbility to lead a team based approach to decision making

ØDemonstrated ability to work in a results oriented, challenging environment

ØEffective coaching, facilitation, presentation, and team building skills
