| Seterus, Inc. is seeking an Operational Analyst II who will
provide analysis and interpretation of financial and business data,
ultimately resulting in independently developed assessments and
recommendations. Understands and anticipates the relationships among
plan, budget, or estimate assumptions and data points. Assignments can
often require the development of nonstandard, creative formats and/or
analysis. Essential Functions: 1. Use models, historical trends, and marketplace factors to estimate volumes, revenue, service cost and other related financial and operational data for tactical and strategic periods. 2. Demonstrate business knowledge and experience when developing assessments and recommendations, i.e., awareness of customers, competition, business unit strategy, spending rate trends, rate structures, conflicting assumptions, etc. 3. Develop forecasts, business plans, cost estimates, variance analysis or other related financial and operational reports and analysis. 4. Identify problems and performance exposures, providing in-depth yet concise analysis of cause and alternative solution approaches. 5. Keep organized records and maintain data requirements, codes and tables for area of responsibility. 6. Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned. Required Skills / Experience: Bachelors degree Minimum of 1-2 years experience in a mortgage, analysis, financial, servicing or credit related role Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills SQL experience strongly desired Outstanding problem solving skills Strong presentation skills and presence Minimum Qualifications: Strong analytical skills – experience developing, explaining and presenting reports and/or analytical models Strong overall problem solver Comfortable with complexity Ability to work in a rapidly moving, dynamic environment Team player with ability to collaborate across business partners Efficiency and effectiveness focus A strong sense of urgency in everything they do Strong verbal and written communication skills: Ability to communicate complex ideas and issues in clear and concise manner Ability to communicate effectively across multiple stakeholders - both internal and external Ability to translate complex ideas into stakeholder presentations Goal oriented and dedicated Process management orientation | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
