McDonald's has bold plans to evolve the customer experience for the digital era, and the Global Digital team is at the center of this aggressive change.  Our team is leading the worldwide effort to develop and orchestrate digital initiatives across every facet of our interactions with customers.  This includes new brand engagement, e-commerce, service delivery, and digital content capabilities.  With the fast emerging digital environment, this team is focused on innovation across the customer journey in and outside our restaurants, identifying the most meaningful opportunities for our customers, and developing capabilities to bring them to life.  We do this in partnership and teamwork with our IT organization and the Markets around the world.
This team was recently formed as McDonald's hired its first Chief Digital Officer, who brings a deep consumer Internet experience. McDonald's is aggressively looking to grow it's digital, web and consumer focused capability by adding top tier talent across the company and within the Global Digital team. The team will work in an entrepreneurial and strategic way to push forward our ideas and innovation, execution and culture, all on behalf of customers.  Our current needs include seasoned digital, social media and Internet talent in functions including product management, product marketing, digital marketing, community management, business development, user experience design, and program management.

We are recruiting for 2 administrative assistants to support the Global Digital team:
The successful candidates must be able to anticipate and provide primary administrative support to the Senior VP, Digital, Sr. Directors, and other directors/managers within the newly created Global Digital team. The successful candidates must be self-starters and work independently, as well as, simultaneously manage multiple tasks with different priorities, objectives and initiatives. These positions will interface with management, Areas of the World, agencies, shareholders and customers; therefore, the qualified candidates must have exceptional oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, customer service, and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced team environment is necessary.
Time Management:
Coordinate calendars for team members and anticipate and handle conflict to make the most efficient use of their time in a rapidly changing environment.  Coordinate travel plans (flights, VISAs/passports, ground transportation, accommodations, and trip meetings) for team.  Manage various inquiries.

Communication:
Execute the appropriate distribution of communications.
Process all telephone calls and answer inquiries to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, confidentiality, professionalism and courtesy.
Effectively communicate with team to understand needs, preferences, priorities and goals.
Gather the necessary information for decision making and proactively develop responses to inquiries.
Effectively communicate current workload and establish reasonable priority and timelines for completion of requests.
Handle routine correspondence.


Core Administrative:
Prioritize and process incoming mail, reports, and correspondence to create efficiencies in workflow on behalf of team.
Coordinate travel plans (domestic and international travel, VISA's/passports, ground transportation, accommodations, etc.).
Coordinate various meetings for team, as well as department.
Process Beeline requests, including follow up.
Assist in processing, tracking and reconciling invoices.
Optimize use of technology for self and team.
Assist in the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
Identify administrative process improvements and take initiative to implement necessary changes.
· Minimum of five years prior administrative experience working in a multi-functional environment required
· High degree of administrative, professionalism and organizational skills is required.
· Ability to multi-task and work in a team environment is a must.
· Must maintain strict confidentiality of information, as appropriate.
· Must be flexible and productive in a dynamic and creative environment.
· McDonald's experience strongly preferred.
· Advanced knowledge of MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook required.
· Knowledge of McD systems such as CQ5 Authoring Tool, IExpense, Axiom Travel Tool, Beeline, and iStar are a plus.
