Do you want to write iOS apps that ship to millions of users?
The iOS apps team is looking for a proactive and hardworking software
engineer to contribute to current and future iPhone, iPad, and iPod
touch apps. Our team is responsible for many of the apps that ship with
iOS, including Stocks, Weather, Clock, Settings, and the iOS Setup
Assistant. Our team contributes to many other projects across iOS as
well.
Key Qualifications
- Required Experience:
- - Strong object oriented programming and design skills
- - In-depth development experience with at least one of the following: Objective-C, C++, or C
- - Performance analysis and tuning experience including memory usage, CPU utilization, leak checking, etc
- - Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills
Description
As an engineer on the iOS apps team, your responsibilities will range
from high-level user interfaces, to writing networking code to
communicate with web service APIs to developing framework code used by
other teams at Apple and third party developers. You'll be responsible
for maintaining and improving existing apps and implementing new and
innovative features for future apps. You will also be responsible for
debugging and delivering the best possible application performance
including smooth scrolling and speedy launch times.
Education
Education:
- BS Degree in CS, ME, EE, or equivalent.
