This leading Investment Bank is looking for a Front Office FX Quant to join their Head Offices in New York. They are looking for someone who will be able to hit the ground running from day one.
This individual will be exposed to the full range of Foreign Exchange products andwill be directly reporting to a Senior Director so will have a tremendous amount of visibility in the company, meaning career progression can be easy for the right candidate.
Responsibilities of the Front Office FX Quant Analyst role:
-Working directly with the traders on the desk in a fast paced environment
-Working predominantly with FX products
-Will be working with models to ensure correct pricing of all FX products.
-Developing and building own models, expected to be used on a global basis.
-Conducting risk analysis, discussing scenarios with traders and ensuring resolutions.
-Delivering stochastic models and dynamic hedging to traders.
Requirements for the Front Office FX Quant Analyst role :
-Interested in those from Other asset classes, such as Interest Rates backgrounds as well, but again those with FX experience at an advantage.
- Ideally candidate needs a PhD in Math/Physics/Engineering etc. However, if candidates only have a Masters but do have a few years of Front Office experience in FX they are also welcome to apply.
- Strong programming skills in C++, VBA, Matlab is a plus
- Excellence in probability theory, stochastic processes, partial differential equations, and numerical analysis.
