As Enterprise Infrastructure &
Platforms Strategy Leader you will play an integral role in helping to
translate EY's overall IT Strategy into a compelling global technology
strategy for our global Infrastructure and Enterprise Platforms. You
will set the strategic direction for all core technologies that are used
on a world-wide scale and across all Business Units within EY (e.g.
Data Centers, Networks, Cloud, Analytics). In close collaboration with
our Enterprise Architects you will help to define the appropriate
implementation approach, support and monitor its implementation and
propose strategic course corrections where needed. As a strategic
technology consultant you will help to improve the utilization of
technology as a competitive advantage on a world-wide scale . The role
will have a solid reporting line to the Global Strategy Leader and work
closely together with the Business Unit Strategy managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Together with a small team of Infrastructure Strategists you will lead the development of technology strategy for our foundation infrastructure and our enterprise platforms in line with overall IT strategy
- Determine the influence of disruptive technology trends and develop adoption strategy covering all elements (people, process, technology)
- Develop a practical implementation approach, guiding the implementation of the strategy through its life cycle
- Act as a strategic technology consultant and provide Thought Leadership that helps EY to achieve its strategic growth vision.
- Determine the Strategic Innovation Agenda for our Infrastructure Functions in close collaboration with our Innovation Center
- Monitor progress against strategic goals and propose corrective actions if needed
- Help drive strategic direction of major transformation activities and assess new project demand for strategic fit
- Act as an ambassador for the strategy
- Work closely together with Enterprise Architecture to ensure that Strategy is supported by the right architectures and standards.
Location: Preferred location Alpharetta, will consider Atlanta, Secaucus, Cleveland, Chicago.

- Outstanding communication skills both oral and written paired with the ability to tailor the message to various audiences
- Exceptional decision-making ability, balancing what is right with what is realistic
- Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change
- Ability to work and team with a multitude of different people from various parts if the Business and IT
- Ability to lead through influence and to deliver results through others
- Ability to lead a team of highly self-sufficient individuals and develop them to their abilities
- Ability and willingness to continuously learn
- Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and an ability to work well under pressure
- Possess a curiosity and a passion towards engaging the imagination of senior level executives in grasping and enabling the fundamentals of change
- Ability to understand and integrate cultural differences and motives, and to influence cross-cultural teams
- English language skills - excellent written and verbal communication
- Expert to Proficient at Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Relevant Master's degree preferred, Bachelors degree required
- 12 + years experience as a technology strategist or a related role with clear focus on Data Centers, Networks, Enterprise Platforms, Cloud and BigData/Analytics
- Proven track record for having successfully influenced technology strategy of a large, multinational company
