This position is within the Project Services team of the Private Equity Fund Services Business Unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Solutions. The Project Services Team is responsible for supporting the client teams servicing all private equity clients in Boston, Fair Lawn, Hong Kong, Atlanta, and Singapore.
The Senior Associate interacts with all levels of professionals both internally and externally as required. Therefore, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure and simultaneously work on multiple priorities.
General Responsibilities:
Supporting a project oriented team within the Private Equity Fund Services Business Unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Solutions Services Group. The project oriented functions may span a wide variety of disciplines including procedures, on-boarding, accounting, finance, and systems; and will include policies and control procedure development and maintenance; liaison with sub-service organizations (i.e., risk and compliance, systems) business data collection, reporting, continuity planning. The Senior Associate serves as a subject matter expert in some areas, while supporting business and client needs in an accurate and timely manner.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Assist as the PEFS subject matter expert for new fund and user set ups.
- When needed provide assistance and help to service PEFS user access requests and proactively provide status updates to fund teams.
- Work closely with PEOB staff, fund teams, and internal service organizations to ensure the set up all new fund requests, closely adhering to client deadlines.
- Support manager with new client on-boarding tasks and/or projects.
- Liaise with Hangzhou to ensure coverage of onboarding requests.
- Work closely with PERM to understand changes to the Approval Authority Matrix that would impact any application and or user permissions/access.
- Assist in updating and maintaining the PE AMAP Core Metric Database
- Support Procedures Management process including working with the business on writing new procedures, reviewing and updated existing procedures for content and format based on new processes and/or system enhancements.
- Maintain working relationship with all client contacts, including investment professionals, investors, auditors, lawyers and banking personnel.
- Participate in special client or internal projects as required.
