| This position is for an IBM corporate Managing Strategy Consultant. This team is responsible for identifying opportunities to improve performance through engaging line-owners to create execution plans that ensure impact and value capture for IBM. Focus on growth and top line revenue enhancement through improved business models, sales effectiveness and efficiency by performing data gathering & research, interviews, fact-based quantitative analysis, administration of engagement activities (charts, analyses, presentations, reports) and creation of original consulting products. The activities and responsibilities to be executed are: Support major IBM business transformation consulting initiatives. Define and structure initiatives, manage teams, and work closely with executive clients to ensure initiatives lead to a definable impact and become engrained in the overall organization. Use fact-based analytics and strategic insights to help drive cross-business unit initiatives focused primarily on increasing IBM revenues with the effectiveness and efficiency of IBM’s labor force. This group has a dual role of leading high revenue impact initiatives and developing future IBM general management talent. Business Performance Services professionals include alumni from consulting firms (Analysts through Partners) as well as experienced IBMers (Analysts through Executives) with significant opportunities for advancement and role expansion based on individual capabilities. Most team members are expected to remain in the group 60 months and then transition to an operating role. Skills: - Problem solving, analytic modeling. - Client management. - Business case development/analysis. - Research and quantitative data analysis. - Interviewing skills. - Enable and support teamwork and collaboration.
