This candidate provides competent leadership in technical and specialized guidance in Development Tools related topics including: • Performs analysis, design, coding, and testing of Development Tools services and components for enterprise use in applications programs to improve efficiency and integrity between systems and applications. • Ensures data integrity by evaluating, implementing, and managing appropriate software and hardware solutions for the application systems. • Defines disaster recovery requirements and plans and delivers a disaster recovery solution for the applications systems. • Serves as third level support for user problems, resolving complex problems. • Coordinates with business units, the project management office (PMO), outside entities and IT staff to confirm compliance and risk mitigation has been met. • Modifies and maintains existing Development Tools services as well as creates special-purpose software to support application usage. • Develops plans, analyzes the problem and information to be processed; • Defines the problem, and develops system requirements and program/technical specifications; • Provides technical direction to junior programmers.. The candidate for this position: Manages a team that provides technical and specialized guidance in Development Tools related topics. Provides leadership in the planning analysis, design, coding, and testing of Development Tools services and components for enterprise use in applications programs to improve efficiency and integrity between systems and applications. Ensures application systems are in compliance to security, audit policies, and procedures. Monitors the performance of the application system. Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and documentation, may write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, and corrections. Provides highly technical and specialized guidance in and solutions to Dev Tools related challenges. Selected candidates may not need to travel for all projects outside of their metro area. However, all candidates must be able and willing to travel based on assigned project demand. Required High School Diploma/GED At least 3 years experience in development and support experience with tools like: - WebFocus (WebFocus Developer Studio, WebFOCUS PMF Balance Card Score) - Business Objects (Business Objects Enterprise, Business Objects At least 2 years experience in reporting tools setup, configurations and troubleshooting At least 3 years experience in supporting tools like Adobe, XML Spy and other tools related to reporting At least 2 years experience in SQL and query writing skills • Ability to perform production support tasks and activities At least 3 years experience in ability to propose and develop reporting tools upgrade vision documents Readiness to travel Up to 1 day a week U.S. citizenship required English: Intermediate
