A technically oriented, customer-focused, project manager to lead and participate in project teams of GE and contract employees to implement and support IT solutions for the Capital HQ Sourcing organization. Partner with Sourcing community to implement IT solutions that drive productivity, increase data quality and facilitate meeting business objectives. Manage project objectives, deliverables, resources and timelines utilizing formal program management methodology throughout project lifecycle.
Essential Responsibilities	Manages the entire project lifecycle and ensures projects are successfully delivered on time, within budget, and to customer specifications. Manages daily activities, issue resolution and communication across project execution teams. Negotiates, sets, and manages stakeholder expectations. Assembles, leads, and motivates a high-performance project team. Identifies required resources in a matrixed environment and obtains commitment to own specific project tasks. Proactively manages and communicates project risks and issues. Provides regular status updates to the appropriate leadership. Prepares a consolidated work plan for initiatives that involves multiple related projects. Coordinates and motivates the resources to execute the project plan. Leads and executes integrity and compliance for all IT applications. Anticipates customer needs and manage changes in project scope, schedule, budget and personnel. Develops and manages technology delivery project plan using MS Project, including PERT analysis, resource assignments, dependencies, critical path analysis, and baseline variance tracking.
Qualifications/Requirements	Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree (or 4 years equivalent work experience) with 2+ years IT experience Eligibility Requirements: You must apply via COS (internals) or www.gecareers.com (externals) to be considered for this position Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.
