Responsible for HR business partner and
generalist support for GE Capital Americas’ Cedar Rapids Customer
Support Center of ~450 employees. Provide tactical and strategic HR
support to a largely non-exempt workforce directly and through one
dotted line report.
Develops
appropriate human resource plans in support of key business needs in a
dynamic, changing environment. Develops/implements appropriate change
management plans as required.
Identifies key human resource needs and develops
appropriate solutions and partners with other internal human resource
areas to provide a full complement of services to the organization.
Conducts annual reviews of organizational design (Session C).
Consults with client organization's management in aligning performance management and reward recommendations.
Develops/implements comprehensive staffing plans for the
organization and partners with the internal staffing organization to
develop a candidate pipeline.
Captures employee opinions and suggestions and drives employee engagement strategies.
Implements and monitors adherence to all
organization-specific Human Resource-related policies, procedures and
practices to include Affirmative Action Plans, FLSA, and Compensation
administration.
Acts as liaison between HR, management and employees regarding HR policies, procedures.
Enables leadership development through training and coaching.
Provides input into departmental budget. Monitors/tracks expenditures against departmental budget.
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, HR or related
discipline and 5 or more years’ of experience in Human Resources or
management experience in GE Capital Americas working with
staffing/recruiting, compensation and benefits, employment laws and
regulations and employee relations.
Intermediate proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
