Our client is a global quantitative investment management firm with an expanding global presence and teams based in USA, London, Singapore and the Middle East. The firm employs two hundred employees globally and has a great reputation for its focus on innovative technology and complex trading strategies. Due to considerable expansion plans and a cash injection to promote a growth in technology, this company is seeking a Business Analyst to come on-board to take a senior role in the front office equities (futures/options) team, a small focused team split across NY and Connecticut. The role will involve working heavily with traders and you will be the dedicated BA focusing on projects across Equities Trading Analytics, Market Data, Order & Execution, Reporting etc. You will be the subject matter expert on equities trading and interface heavily with the portfolio managers, researchers, technologists and support staff.

Key Responsibilities for Equities Trading Analytics / Market Data Business Analyst – Proprietary Trading;

• Take responsibility as the lead Business Analyst for the Equities Trading Business
• Focus on projects across analytics, market data, order & execution
• Interact heavily with the portfolio managers, researchers and technologists
• Interface with CEO on a daily basis
• Gather requirements and implement cutting edge solutions

Skill Set Required for Equities Trading Analytics / Market Data Business Analyst – Proprietary Trading;

• Knowledge of equities
• Futures/Options experience a big plus
• At least five years in a similar Business Analyst role
• Experience within a prop trading environment is a plus
• Great communication skills
• Solid technology/IT fundamentals
