This position is focused on counterparty credit analysis within capital markets. The incumbent will be responsible for analyzing counterparty credit and establishing trading limits.

Responsibilities include:

• Analyzing the counterparty’s business model, financial profile and performance. Writing credit reviews and reports for the credit committee, spreading financial results, and interpreting financial metrics to assess the counterparty’s creditworthiness.
• Thought leader in credit analysis with a keen interest in the capital markets; knowledge of Broker-Dealers, Investment Advisors and Hedge Funds is a plus. 
• Developing and building analytical tools including standard spreads for financial analysis and standardized review templates.
• Working with IT to develop credit risk assessment, monitoring and reporting tools, and Inputting limits, ratings and notes into systems.

Requirements:

• A least 5 years experience in counterparty credit risk analysis within capital markets
• Credit trained
• High degree of detail orientation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong Excel, Word and technical skills
