Job Summary

The Corporate Security Manager (CSM) is a high-profile position at Apple. The CSM is the face of Apple Global Security and primary point of contact for Apple’s business units, facilities, contract guard service and other vendors. The CSM will work daily with Apple’s business units, the contract guard service and the facilities group to plan and execute security projects globally.

• Experience presenting to large groups and senior executives
• Proven experience using cyber investigative tools
• Demonstrated experience in formulating, implementing and critically reviewing security plans
• Experience in logistics security, event security or executive protection is a plus
• Demonstrated success in managing multiple, simultaneous on-going projects
• Experience managing contract security vendors
• Working knowledge of access control principles
• Strong observational skills
• Proven ability to conduct physical security assessments
• Excellent writing skills

Description

The successful candidate must possess strong problem solving skills, as well as the ability to build effective, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside the company. When circumstances require, the candidate must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays, and to handle 24/7 on-call responsibilities. Some travel may be required. This position does not have any direct reports and reports to the Manager of Security Operations.

Education

A Bachelor’s degree plus one year of relevant experience; or five years relevant experience with demonstrated organizational and leadership success.
