Description
Automation Engineer to run the data processing pipeline and coordinate critical team processes.
Responsibilities include:
Managing and enhancing the operations of the data processing pipeline.
Technical ownership of the continuous integration system for code quality.
Coordination of the scrum process for the team.
Education
Requirements:
B.S. or higher in Computer Science or equivalent program.
5+ years of experience in software release management, software engineering or software QA.
2+ years of experience building automation frameworks.
3+ years of proficiency in a scripting language.
Knowledge of C, C++ or Java.
Release management and/or Project management experience.
Additional success factors:
Knowledge of Git and Jenkins.
Python scripting Linux/Mac.
Familiarity with system management and monitoring tools such as Ganglia, Nagios.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Mappin, GIS, or geospatial experience.
