The Power Lead Software Engineer will lead the development of Power Generation Embedded Software. The ideal candidate comes from an embedded software background, has team leading experience, and is enthusiastic to progress their career in a lead engineer role.
Essential Responsibilities	In addition you will: Estimate, plan and execute qualifying software releases Design, development and testing of embedded software applications Track and task software issues to larger team Be responsible for metrics tracking Motivate and encourage the team under challenging targets Be responsible for technical leadership and guidance Ensure proper documentation of technical data is generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews Report project status to Engineering Project Manager and Line Manager Coach, mentor and train of team members Interface with Certification, Quality, Excellence, Sourcing, and other groups
Qualifications/Requirements	Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science from an accredited College or university OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering 5 years software engineering experience
