Job Summary

The Site Development Project Manager role purpose is to manage customer projects and secure that project goals, time and budget are in agreement with the internal/external customer expectation.
 

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • As a Site Development project manager you will be one of the key representatives for Ericsson towards our customers. You will define the project scope, secure the necessary resources and plan and monitor all activities.
     
    ROLE:
    The customer project manager function is implemented to manage projects towards its goal in terms of scope, time, costs and quality while achieving full customer satisfaction.
    Take on the role of TPM (senior/experienced) or Subproject Manager (experienced/assessed) for project management.
    Reports to the Program Manager in the case of TPM and to the TPM in the case of Subproject Manager.
    Take on the role of PM for program management and/or CFR.
    The TPM is accountable for the Project Performance Reviews (PPR) and participates in the Steering Group Reviews (SGR).
     
    MAIN RESPOSIBILITIES:
    The customer project manager is accountable for all activities in the Ericsson project model, responsibility for a certain activity can be delegated.  This includes monitoring and controlling project progress and deliveries, and focusing on the needs and priorities of the customer and other important project stakeholders.
    Managing the project management activities in the analysis, planning, establishment (execution), realization (execution), handover (execution) and conclusion phase.
    Early involvement in sales and planning phase, executes the Ericsson Project process activities and supports the CFR in the sales process activities.
    Monitoring project financials in the system supported by PSP and Business Controllers, securing proper planning and tracking, to enable PMO to have clear visibility of project status and numbers. Enhance organizations KPIs and business targets.
     
    Minimum Education and Requirements
     
    Candidate must have 4-6 years of proven project management success in large scale Network Rollout, and Wireless Site Development. Excellent technical understanding and project experience with site construction, network deployment and integration of wireless systems, as well as telecom services such as MW path design, LOS. Operational experience with a telecom network is a plus.
     
    1) Bachelors degree, preferably in a science, business or telecommunications discipline, or a minimum of eight years of progressive experience in a related field
    2) Four to six years experience in project management, and/or related functional areas in a communication systems companies
    3) Highly developed working knowledge of business process, including tender and sales
    4) Good knowledge of Ericsson products
