This role works within the model development team and is responsible for developing model documentation standards and templates for all credit risk, fraud, collections and financial & capital models. Additionally this role will work closely with the development team to document all internal and external models to be consistent with GE Retail Finance standards and in compliance with regulatory guidance.
  • Lead cross functional project teams to address identified documentation short-comings and issues
  • Review and standardize documentation for all credit risk, fraud, collections and financial & capital models
  • Assist in streamlining documentation templates and processes for all Risk models
  • Assist in completing documentation of all internally developed scorecards
  • Update any vendor documentation of externally developed models to meet GE Retail Finance standards and requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years’ experience in risk management
  • Experience leading cross-functional project teams or managing projects.
  • 1+ years' experience with credit scoring models; understanding of credit bureau, masterfile, and transaction data
  • PC skills, particularly with Excel, Word, and Power Point.

  • 3+ years’ experience in risk management
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred with emphasis in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Finance or other quantitative field
  • Experience in policies, procedures, and/or documentation.
  • Familiarity with consumer and commercial lending products and practices.
  • Accuracy focused with extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and problem solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
