The Capital Controllership Analyst role in General Electric Capital Corporation (GECC) Capital Management team is responsible for building out controllership of the Regulatory Capital Adequacy process including the Regulatory Capital calculations. The role will be responsible for data lineage and control for regulatory capital calculations. The role will be responsible for maintaining capital policies and procedures.
  • Develop and deliver training on capital concepts to support functions and lines of business.
  • Develop and support controllership of GECC’s regulatory capital adequacy processes
  • Support the maintenance of GECC’s Capital Management Policy, describing the processes and practices used by the Company to set, measure, monitor, and manage the Company’s capital levels in a manner appropriate for its risk profile
  • Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelors’ degree with 6+ years financial accounting/risk analysis experience, or CAS Graduate
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience training stakeholders across several functions or businesses

  • Financial Management (FMP) or Risk (RMP) Program graduate (internal GE only)
  • Experience working with global teams in a matrix environment
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to execute in a fast paced environment and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with the ICAAP Supervisory Requirements, Basel 1 and US Basel 3 guidelines, the Federal Reserve System's regulations regarding capital planning for U.S. bank holding companies and the Dodd-Frank Act
  • High energy, self-starter, team player
  • Effective communication skills-written and verbal presentation
