GENERAL SUMMARY
Responsible for accounts or segments with significant strategic and/or economic value to EMC typically < $30M Revenue
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Major - Large, complex prospects and mostly national accounts - Enterprise
Plans, organizes, leads and controls balanced sales growth, continued account penetration and customer satisfaction on a long-term multi-year focus. Demonstrates advanced knowledge and practice of the Integrated Sales Cycle
Provides senior leadership in the development of product knowledge, solution, sales and service strategies and competency development.
Must maintain detailed knowledge of EMC software and hardware product, competitive products, customer vertical industry, and have in-depth understanding of the specific applications running in the customer environment.
Maintains high level, executive contact with accounts, focusing on the establishment and maintenance of a strategic relationships
Provides guidance and leadership in project management and strategic sales initiatives. Typically provides a business focus for 1-3 subordinate sales Managers and Account Execs/Reps directly or indirectly
