You will be the foremost technical interface to QCA
customers in both pre- and after-sales and act as the key link between
QCA sales/marketing and engineering teams. In this role, you will
directly support sales managers as the technical expert on the QCA
product portfolio to secure design wins and manage the technical support
of the customer through the design-in phase all the way to product end
of life. You will establish and maintain close technical ties to the
customer account to facilitate rapid resolution of customer issues and
to also identify upgrade opportunities with existing accounts.

| Responsibilities
|
|
Major
responsibility will be to provide direct technical support to customers
and ODMs with the design, development and debug of QCA 802.11 reference
design related issues. These platforms incorporate MIPS processors, ARM
Processors, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless chipset, USB and Ethernet, SATA
and other interface technologies. Candidate must quickly assimilate onto
an existing project, understand SW driver architecture, read/write
technical specifications/requirements, demonstrate strong problem
solving abilities and work closely with external customers to customize
and launch their products.
-Debug software issues such as boot loader, Linux Kernel and WLAN driver. -Assist Application Engineering Team in customizing drivers for customer platforms. -Assist customer in evaluating WLAN throughput and range performance. -On-Site support of customer platform design and system bring-up. -Maintain customer support site and manage customer bugs and feature requests. -Host technical trainings for customer engineers and partners on new products as needed.

| Basic Qualifications
|
|
-Candidates
should have five to seven years of experience in software design,
supporting consumer designs in the field that include WLAN and
networking technologies. -Solid Linux and WLAN driver programming skills are a must. -Architectural skills to fine tuning system performance. -Strong problem solving skills. -Strong written and oral communication and teamwork skills are required. -Experience with Ethernet and USB device driver development is a plus. -Experience with QCA chipset a plus.
