Over the last 3+ years Ericsson has invested billions of dollars to move from the #1 position in Wireless Infrastructure to take claim as the #1 in end-to-end Converged Infrastructure. There are not many players that have end-to-end capability. There are a whole host of challenges you face when creating a single, fully converged, infrastructure that handles everything.
Headquartered in San Jose, the IP Systems & Technology team establishes and maintains architectural integrity of Ericsson IP Edge Routing Portfolio. Additionally, this team drives architectural decisions in alignment with Ericsson’s end-to-end network architecture and evolution. We are seeking a Project manager to plan, execute and complete systemization activities for PDU IP systems. The Project is a component of the Early Phase Project (EPP) and serves as the primary interface from systems towards product management, engineering teams and customers. The requirement specification and the Implementation Sketches are done for the key market features for SSR and SE products. The project is responsible for driving the architecture for current and future products.
Job Requirements :
- Drive technology projects based on customer expectations
- Scope, estimate, plan and execute the systemization of features for products in IP-systems
- Drive collaboration and interaction with vendors and partners
- Present, communicate and negotiate with different stakeholders
- Work across organizational bounderies to deliver timely results
- Lead diverse group of individuals across different sites to accomplish project goals
- Take accountability for delivering results to stakeholders
- Drive risk mitigation and analysis through the lifecycle of the project
