We are excited to announce that at this time we are looking for a Virtual HIV Clinical Educator to join our team of over 10,000 global field personnel supporting our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
Primary Function / Primary Goals / Objectives:
Patients are at the center of AbbVie’s business strategies The
Patient Ambassador will be an offering from AbbVie Virology for those
patients on AbbVie’s HIV product, Kaletra. The Virology Patient
Ambassador Program serves as the primary AbbVie contact with the patient
community with the specific purpose of providing education to these
stakeholders who are advice seeking.
The Patient Ambassador‘s have primary responsibility/accountability
for providing appropriate product related training for patients
prescribed AbbVie’s product for the treatment of HIV infection.
Ambassadors will serve as the link for each patient and understanding of
administration of product, side-effect management and adherence
education. Each Ambassador may interact with enrolled patients by
telephone, email and webinar in a format that would be conducive to
education and protection of privacy. These interactions will be
conducted in one on one, group and with caregiver included educational
forums, with patients deciding how and whether to participate.
The Virtual Ambassador Resource Program is a program designed to be
an educational resource. Patient Ambassadors provide education and
resources to help patients have a good understanding of their disease
state, how to better manage their medication regimens and improve their
health outcomes. Patient Ambassadors do not provide medical advice.

Qualifications
Job Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree required
· BSN, RN, PA or NP
· Current license in good standing
· 5 + yrs clinical experience in healthcare to include hospital, home health , pharmaceutical or biotech
· HIV/AIDS experience
· Bilingual required
· Nurse educator experience preferred
