The Global Treasury Analyst manages both small and large, complex projects across broad areas of Treasury including the In-House-Bank. These projects involve many stakeholders. The PDS Consultant is a key source that provides strategic thinking with the ability to analyze complex end-to-end Treasury processes as well as standardize, optimize and improve Treasury business operations. The incumbent must be knowledgeable in systems, project management techniques, continuous improvement methodologies and change management techniques. The PDS Consultant also provides leadership and support for the Treasury team’s execution of its annual goals and objectives.

Treasurer, Assistant Treasurer – Global Liquidity, Manager – International Treasury, Director Asset Management, Assistant Treasurer – Debt Capital Markets, Chief Financial Officer, Domestic and International Business Units, K-C Treasurer's Office staff, Strategic Analysis, Corporate Reporting, Tax, Legal and Accounting Departments.

Customers require analysis on a variety of Treasury related processes and systems. Customers expect and must receive prompt, accurate and courteous service.

Scope:

The incumbent drives and assists in the analysis and execution of processes and systems, presentation of data, and interacts with all levels of internal management, external banking, investment professionals, ITS personnel, and other Centers of Excellence (COE’s). The role actively participates in validating changes to systems by overseeing all necessary testing.

Principal Accountabilities:

• Assist leadership in driving, recommending course of action, evaluating analysis, and execution of innovative solutions. Accountability includes preparing presentations to support communication.

• Manage large complex improvement projects including deployment of relevant project management methodologies, project prioritization activities and testing requirements.

• Identify opportunities for business process efficiency improvements.

• Participate in training of team members, and career development efforts to ensure that the financial organization attracts, develops and retains the best people and fosters an environment which motivates a diverse team to fully utilize its capabilities in achieving desired business results.
• Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.

• Communicate fully with superiors, subordinates and others who have a need to know and in a way that is timely, complete, accurate and clear.

Qualifications

 
• A B.S. / B.A. degree, an M.B.A. degree is a plus, and eight plus years finance experience, including project management techniques and change management techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Broad in-depth knowledge of the financial and business implications of general business practices.
• Strong analysis and system skills, a working knowledge of accounting, finance, economies, and taxation. The incumbent must be proficient in discounted cash flow analysis, and financial statement analysis.
• Knowledge of international cash management, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Knowledge of the treasury systems and SAP a plus.
• Knowledge of transactional and translational currency transactions.
• Experience with multi-national company and matrixed organizations.
• Strong Lean/Continuous Improvement capabilities.
• Coordinate and drive communication and change management across geographies.
