Director of Marketing, TIGI Americas
Job Summary
The
Director of Marketing, TIGI Americas will identify and manage
business-building initiatives needed to grow the TIGI and Alberto brands
in the Americas market through all channels, including direct,
distributor, LATAM, Canada and chains.
Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and execute
business-building initiatives needed to accomplish short and long-term
goals of the TIGI brands in the US market
Manage and inspire the TIGI Americas Marketing team to drive a bias for action and provide direction for day to day tasks
Work with Brand Development to drive brand, innovation and promotional strategy for the Americas
Support and champion our brand strategy, marketing principles, and organizational values
Main Accountabilities
Motivate and support sales team to accomplish sales goals, objectives and key initiatives
Identify and execute
business-building initiatives needed to accomplish short and long-term
sales goals specific to all channels and brands
Manage the development and execution innovations and promotions to drive sales
Gain deep understanding
of the goals and objectives of the customers within the channels and use
this information to develop detailed customer profiles and plans
Develop initiatives to improve the In Crowd salon loyalty program
Support and champion our
brand strategy, marketing principles, and organizational values through
the planning and execution of a strong media plan, including digital,
social and print for both trade and consumer markets
Manage and drive all
trade and consumer public relations activities while managing
relationship with public relations agency for consumer-focused outreach
Manage TIGI Americas only
businesses, including TIGI Cosmetics, TIGIPro appliances, Tresemme 4+4,
Nexxus Professional and Folicure
Manage all agency relationships, including Mindshare, Siren and other web, digital and marketing agencies
Manage the concept and direction for all trade shows, sales meetings and World Release events
Direct Reports/Key Interfaces
May have 8-12 direct reports
Lead cross-functional and agency teams
Key Requirements
Minimum 10 years of marketing and/or sales experience, preferably in consumer products or beauty industry
Experience in professional haircare market a huge plus
Bachelors degree required
Masters Degree in related field preferred
Microsoft Office (Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Analytical/quantitative
skills, complex project management skills, team leadership skills,
strategic thinking and leadership skills, coaching skills
Proven record of drive and initiative with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to operate in an aggressive, dynamic environment, and to provide innovative approaches in a team-based structure
Technical experience with consumer panels and/or shopper loyalty database is beneficial; customer/retailer orientation a plus
