Job Summary
The
iOS Quality team is looking for a motivated, highly technical Telephony
QA Engineer with excellent problem solving and communication skills.
You will join a dynamic team responsible for qualifying the latest iOS
products.
Key Qualifications
- Must be able to work independently and should be proactive
- Demonstrated ability to own a complete functional area of an application or product
- Good understanding of SQA methodologies & practices
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Must be detail oriented
- Comfortable with working on hardware and in supporting engineering in debugging/reproducing hard to reproduce issues
- Strong understanding of OS concepts in UNIX, Linux, and/or Mac OS X
- Scripting skills in any of the following: Perl, Python, Shell, JavaScript, Ruby
- Testing of mobile devices
Description
Your
focus will be testing iOS for stress in Apple’s innovative devices. The
successful candidate will complete both documented and ad hoc testing
to ensure high quality releases.
Education
Bachelors degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent experience
Additional Requirements
Experience in testing cellular technologies(GSM/GPRS)
Experience in automating Phone testing
C or C++ coding experience a plus
