DePuy Synthes Joint Reconstruction is the Joint Reconstruction business offering orthopaedic devices, solutions and supplies for hip, knee and extremity reconstruction, in addition to cement and operating room products.
Working in our change management and ERP systems (JD Edwards and SAP), the Document Management Specialist contributes to the successful launch of new product development products and supports base business. To accomplish this, this person will analyze change orders and provide general guidance and support related to the change order process for the Codman, DePuy Orthopaedics, and DePuy Mitek operating companies, and creating and revising associated item master data for related products.
The Specialist performs their work in strict accordance with worldwide, local, and departmental procedures and with the highest degree of quality regulation awareness and compliance. They maintain departmental procedures and work instructions. They also support internal and external audits as requested. They will have occasional contact with external customers and frequent contact with internal customers. These include Product Development, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Clinical, Operations, Finance, Quality and Regulatory departments, as well as document management teams at other DePuy Synthes facilities.
Qualifications
A minimum of a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Minimum of 1 year working experience in a highly regulated industry is required. General office equipment and systems, Microsoft applications and software is required. Must be able to offer practical solutions that minimize compliance risk while balancing business needs. Also required is the ability to lift storage cartons up to 20 pounds. This position is based in Raynham, MA.
Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year working experience in the medical device industry, and experience with records management practices. This position requires experience working in compliance with Quality System Regulations, experience working in strict compliance with written procedures, working with electronic change management systems, and experience working with ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems.
