SUMMARY:
The Meat Supervisor works closely with the Meat Team Leader and Associate Team Leader to ensure smooth operation of the Team. Assist the Meat Team Leader in personnel issues and with supervision of Meat Team Members. Maintain a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly and efficient customer service. DUTIES:
- Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Meat Team Member.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Meat Team Members.
- Communicate any departmental concerns to the Meat Team Leader and/or Associate Team Leader.
- Support the Associate Team Leader in training new Meat Team Members.
- Determine break schedule and ensure all necessary breaks are given.
- Responsible for answering questions and solving problems in the Meat Team Leader or Associate Team Leader’s absence.
- Monitor and maintain sanitation and cleaning checklists.
- Build displays and request appropriate signage.
- Help the Associate Team Leader with handling customer’s special orders.
- Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and adhere to safe work practices.
- Operate and sanitize all equipment in a safe and proper manner.

- Meat experience required.

- Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Bend and stoop to grasp objects and climb ladders. Bend and twist neck and waist, reach above and below shoulders and squat.
- Bend and lift loads, not to exceed 50 pounds. Push and pull carts weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pushing, pulling, and fine manipulation.
- Environmental exposure to extreme temperatures (coolers, ovens, freezer, outdoors, etc.)
