Description

 The position is for a Production Support specialist who would engage with the various teams to - perform health checks for all applications to ascertain application accessibility, server status and capacity, scheduled job status, batch jobs status, Systems alerts, Upstream/Down stream feed status - respond to incident tickets, user inquiries and services requests - analyze and triage defects/issues - plan and manage releases and migrations in different environments - monitor system alerts, system utilization thresholds, capacity utilization on servers etc. - forecast capacity requirements - adhere to technology mandatory requirements (example, software version upgrades for application servers) and asset optimization

Qualifications

 - 5+ years of experience in application development and/or production support - knowledge in technology tools like Java, Application Server (Weblogic, Websphere), Abinitio/Talend, Oracle, NDM, Autosys, Cognos/Business Objects - experience in managing multiple projects/applications - have good analytical skills to research and resolve issues, generate metrics and create reports for MIS - possess people management skills; onshore/offshore - should have sound background on financial and risk management systems - knowledge in Private Banking or Personal Banking business and Enterprise Risk Management is a plus - strong verbal/written communication, coordination and soft skills - ability to manage relationships with multiple teams - Development, Business, Infrastructure, System Administrators, Database, Hardware Procurement, etc.
