This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support that the one offered by the 1st Level Operations. This shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels. This position is located in Plano, TX

Job Summary
This Job Role is responsible for the coordination, management and execution of proactive and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support that the one offered by the 1st Level Operations. Responsibilities & Tasks:
Network Systems Administrator III candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing operational support for the Performance Management environments, including, but not limited to, patch management and proactive platform management.
- Providing chronic issue management.
- Providing scheduled maintenance.
- Maintaining compliance with Performance Management application systems administration best practices.
- Must have an understanding of telephony networks.
- Familiar with troubleshooting issues associated with performance applications, including OM collection, and network connectivity.
- Proposing and implementing system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the systems managed by the candidate.
- Installing new applications and platforms into the environment.
- Good communication skills when working with other organizations.
- Will be part of a 24/7 on call rotation
Position Qualifications:
- Must have at least 5 years of current experience with application support for telephony applications
- Bachelor's Degre in Computer Science or equivalent field.
Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements:
- Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
- Good communication skills

- Social skills and awareness
- Java, UNIX scripting skills.
- MS in Computer Science
