Work Location: 176 South Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748 and various unanticipated client sites throughout the U.S.
Responsibilities
Formulate account strategies. Conduct technical and business requirements surveys at customer sites. Design and develop solutions to business problems using EMC products. Manage technical relationships with customers and prospects. Create and deliver technical presentations to customers and prospects and demonstrate EMC products. Conduct and lead customer Proofs-of-Concept. Evaluate business opportunities, task plans, and technical approaches for projects.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s
Degree or Higher in Computer Science or any relevant engineering field
such as Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Foreign equivalent degrees accepted. Position requires at least 5 years of progressive post-graduate experience in all of the following: performing business systems analysis and client needs analysis; designing, architecting, and implementing Enterprise Content Management Solutions; configuring and customizing Enterprise Content Management Solutions based on customer requirements; providing
technical pre-sales support for packaged software solutions; performing
technical product demonstrations for clients and prospects; and,
working with Service Oriented Architecture and enterprise standard
platforms including J2EE. Roving Employee (travel to various unanticipated client sites is required. Home-based employment is available.)
