Description
As an American Express Specialized Travel Counselor, you will work for a Business Travel Call Center where you will provide a specialized servicing to a Financial Investment Banking travelers that will require high touch service. You will join a team of highly skilled and specialized travel counselors offering unique level of service, outstanding Apollo GDS skills as well as vast destination knowledge. You will be accountable for both individual goals as well as shared team goals and responsible for providing customer service and accurate completion of both international, domestic travel arrangements and special requests. These positions requires flexibility to work various shifts (between 6 AM and 8 PM) as determined by customer call volumes and business needs as well as additional client related tasks.
Qualifications
2 years corporate travel experience required along with international booking experience. Experience working with high touch corporate customers and Investment banking portfolio experience preferred. Must have full understanding & knowledge of special high to touch travel industry and project request. Effectively communicate and conflict resolution skills; strong organizational and ability to multi task. Demonstrate problem solving skills, ability to manage change effectively, ability to manage workflow in a highly complex & fast changing environment. Strong knowledge but not limited to; Airline upgrade procedures, Hotel amenities and black car service. Display highest level of integrity when dealing with internal & external customers. Knowledge of GDS Apollo, required. Shift and hours will vary need to be open to all shifts Monday through Friday between 6am – 8 pm, open to splits shifts.
Axcess@Home Requirements:
· Dedicated work space must be within own residence and that follows the ergonomic and safety guidelines for performing travel counselor duties
· Axcess@Home Agent is responsible for supplying their own furniture; desk with lockable drawer or separate lockable file cabinet, chair, document shredder, smoke detector in proximity of work area, and fire extinguisher
· Axcess@Home Agent must complete Flexible Work Arrangement Application and Agreement
· Axcess@Home Agent must complete and meet the requirements of the Work Environment and Safety Assessment
· High speed internet capability with at least 10 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload speeds: DSL or Cable (no wireless or satellite ISP’s are permitted)
