Description
Biosense Webster, a member of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Senior Director Finance located in Diamond Bar, CA.
The Senior Director Finance will provide financial leadership for key Medical Devices & Diagnostics MD&D and Global Surgery Group GSG processes including Strategic and Business Planning, Pay for Performance and Competitive Analysis. Provide financial context and framing to MD&D WW Chairs and Group CFO's, GSG GOC and J&J Senior Management concerning the analysis and framing of our financial results and future aspirations for decision making. Position is responsible for setting overall MD&D financial processes and calendars for the 3 MD&D groups, our WW Business Units, Regional teams and the Enterprise and Shared areas that provide support. Process must ensure we have the ability to forecast, track and report in order to facilitate hitting group commitments and appropriate framing business results and conditions.
Specific responsibilities include MD&D and GSG Dashboard and Scorecards, Competitive analysis and Market Framing, GOC and BOD communications, the planning and execution of the GSG and MD&D Strategic Plan, BP, Updates and Actual Analysis. Individual coordinates "controllers team " throughout MD&D to ensure communication and process goals and feedback are shared timely.
Important Liason role between 3 MD&D Groups to ensure consistency of process and themes as well as with Consolidations, IR, and they Support and Enterprise functions. Represent Group finance or MD&D on various GFS initiative projects by challenging and educating the team on current requirements and working towards solutions that increase efficiency effectiveness of Finance. Ensure overall compliance environment exists in GFPA and support the adherence to WWP's.
A focus of the role is to consider the way the group processes work to gather , analyze and frame data to ensure it is being carried out in the right place, right processes and to the right level of rigor based on the
Special projects and ad hoc analysis; e.g. Restructuring, MD&D external presentations (MD&D Day, other analysis or external), etc. This position frequently interacts with WW Chairs, WW +Group CFO's, GOC Members, Consolidations and Group Finance across all groups, Regional and Business Unit Controllers.
Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is required. A CMA, CFM, or CPA is preferred. Experience at the Director / Controller level is required. A minimum of 10 years of experience is required. Some experience in the MD&D sector is preferred. Strong analytical and accounting skills are required. Experience with and the ability to frame issues/opportunities for senior management is required. The ability to influence outcomes and to manage and prioritize multiple requirements is required. Strong working knowledge of J&J Processes & Procedures is required. PowerPoint, Organization and strong communication skills are required. The ability to improve business processes and have the ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast paced environment is required. This role must be able to present to and influence all levels and act as a change agent when required.
