Description
Enterprise Growth organization maintains a start-up mindset within a Fortune’s Blue Ribbon company. This Lead Developer will be creating exciting new forms of payments and digital commerce products for American Express. We are looking for someone wanting to be a part of cutting edge business and technology innovation by supporting a rapidly growing digital services platform. Following would be key responsibilities –
- Design and build efficient, scalable and reusable enterprise software
- Strong quality and security focus in design reviews, code reviews and unit testing
- Estimate engineering efforts, attend daily scrums, ensure functional and non-functional deliverables are on Schedule:
- Mentor developers in coding best practices and system performance fine tuning
- Support rollouts, analyze technical issues and be available for on-call duties to lead resolution
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Hands on development experience in a high volume, highly available, secure, scalable production environment
- Knowledge and understanding of architecture, application systems design, object-oriented design methodologies, design patterns in Java, basic data modeling and SQL skills
- Strategic thinker who is able to combine technical skills with overall business strategy and utilize creative solutions for problem resolution and application development
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, WS-*, JUICE, Quartz, XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST
- Familiarity with agile methodology a plus
