Position Description
Boeing - St. Louis Electrical Engineering is seeking new/recent college graduates and early career engineers to staff existing and emerging programs. Assignments are available in the areas of avionics/electronics/electromagnetics design; analysis and development of hardware/software subsystems; and system integration & test for a variety of manned and unmanned military aircraft and missile systems. Responsibilities include assisting with the development of electronic and electrical system requirements, developing and/or modifying basic hardware and software designs based on defined requirements, interfacing with suppliers during development, performing system tests to verify requirements compliance, resolving product integration issues and production anomalies and researching basic technologies for potential application to company business needs. Applicants must have good communication, analytical, and organizational skills and be able to work in a team environment - previous design team or special project team participation is desired. Moderate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
The St. Louis/St. Charles sites are located in St. Louis & St. Charles counties respectively, located about 20 miles NW of downtown St. Louis, Missouri. The sites have about 16000 employees with around 5000 in Engineering. The St. Louis Electrical Engineering function has approximately 1000 engineers. F/A-18 & F-15 fighter jets are built and integrated at the site and flight tested at various Navy and Air Force test facilities. A variety of research and development programs (including unmanned air systems) and weapon programs are also executed from these locations.

Typical Education/Experience
Level 1 - Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Level 2 - Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 2 or more years' experience or a Master's degree with experience. Other Job related information
Applicants must list their current cumulative GPA clearly on their resume; resumes without GPA will not be
considered. Prefer a 3.0 or greater cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Prefer students majoring in either Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. It is expected that applicants will be available for employment soon after graduation.
