Backstretch Education Fund, a not-for-profit, seeks a bilingual,
certified ESL teacher at Belmont Racetrack in Elmont, NY. The part-time
position involves teaching ESL and some coordinator's responsibilities
in a program that provides educational, social and cultural
opportunities for Latino immigrants.
The successful candidate will be warm, enthusiastic, dynamic and have a passion for teaching. We are eager to have people join us whose training, skills and experience add to our ability to provide great teaching and excellent support. We emphasize small group learning environments and high professional standards and will provide you the opportunity to grow with us and help our students achieve beyond expectations.
Spanish-English are requisite
Schedule: Mondays and Tuesdays, 12:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
